For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. This verse gives us validity as children of the highest God. We are of such value to him he serves as both our light and our protection. So as we are with him we are never alone and we are always protected. Doesn’t this make you feel loved? When I immerse myself in the Word of God at the beginning of my day I feel invincible, like nothing can touch me. It feels as if I am in an impenetrable space and I am free to go about my way. My way is my Fathers business. God's Word should bring us peace. When we spend time with God in his word it helps to solidify our faith and our will to become one with him. So much of what is left to be done on this earth depends solely on us listening to him through his word and spending time in that silent place with him.
The above scripture tells us that we are blessed if we trust in him. I want to remain in that blessed place that he has for us. Personally, I don't believe that we were created to worry or toil. Mind you I'm not saying that we won't go through things, of course, we will, Jesus did but I believe he managed it so well because he trusted in his father yes, our father. The above scripture gives us the recipe for getting to a safe place. Let us pray.
Dear heavenly father before asking for anything I want you to know how I love and appreciate all the many things that you have done for me. The many doors that you have opened, the many crooked places that you have made straight for me. As I look back over my life I remember times I did not think I could make it through then I would remember what your Word says and it seemed as if the problems begin to melt away. I know dear heavenly father when I put you in your rightful place at the head of my life and the beginning of my day, you will do your job which is being my God. I know you are more than capable to handle anything that comes against me anything that tries to hurt me or take me past my ability. Father when I study your word I can feel your hands of protection over me and my family I don't take it lightly and I thank you for it so much. This day as every day I ask that you create in me a clean heart and renew the right spirit within me. I want to be valuable and useful in the Kingdom. Father, I know that I am the answer to a problem in this earth realm help me be the solution you created me to be I pray this in Jesus's name Amen.
