My Morning with God- Luke 8:46-48

And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace."

In this passage from Luke, we encounter a woman who had been suffering from a flow of blood for twelve years. In her desperation for healing, she reached out to touch the hem of Jesus' garment. Her touch was not merely physical but filled with faith. Jesus, perceiving that power had gone out from Him, questioned who had touched Him. The woman, realizing she could not go unnoticed, came forward, trembling. She openly shared her testimony of healing with Jesus and the crowd. What stands out in this story is the transformative power of faith. The woman's faith in Jesus as the source of her healing moved her to action. Her boldness to reach out to Him in faith brought about an immediate and complete healing. Jesus acknowledged her faith and assured her, saying, "Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made the whole; go in peace." This encounter teaches us that faith has the ability to bring healing, restoration, and peace. It encourages us to approach Jesus with bold and unwavering faith, believing in His power to transform our situations. May we, like the woman in this passage, approach Jesus with the same faith, trusting that He has the power to bring healing and peace to our lives.

Let us Pray, Dear heavenly Father your omnificent power that you made available to us is sufficient to heal and deliver us. We are so appreciative and empowered. We come to you boldly as your children with repentance and thanksgiving. Our lives are made manifest in you. For you know the plans you have for us. This makes it apparent that we don't know and we need to stay close to you so the Holy Spirit can lead us in all ways of truth. Oh God, we magnify you and we praise your Holy name. We seal it all in Jesus' name Thank you Amen.
