My Morning with God- Galatians 2:16 ESV

Galatians 2:16 (ESV) reads: "Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified."

In this profound verse, the Apostle Paul reminds us of the foundational truth that our justification before God is not achieved through our own efforts or by following the law. Instead, it is through faith in Jesus Christ that we find our righteousness.

The concept of justification by faith alone is a cornerstone of Christian doctrine. Paul emphasizes that no amount of good deeds or law-keeping can earn us a right standing before God. It is our faith in Jesus Christ, our trust in His redemptive work on the cross, that justifies us.

This verse invites us to reflect on the liberating truth that our salvation is a gift received through faith, not a wage earned through our performance. It redirects our focus from self-reliance to reliance on Christ. Our works, though valuable expressions of gratitude and obedience, are not the basis of our acceptance before God.

As we navigate our spiritual journey, let us solidify ourselves in the simplicity of faith. Let us lay aside the burden of trying to earn God's favor and, instead, rest in the finished work of Jesus. Justification by faith is a profound reminder of God's grace – a grace that welcomes us into His presence not because of what we've done, but because of what Christ has done for us.Let us live each day in the freedom that comes from knowing we are justified by faith in Jesus Christ. This truth empowers us to live out our faith with joy, gratitude, and a profound sense of God's unmerited love.

Let us Pray, Dear heavenly Father thank you for your never-ending love and devotion to us We adore you and magnify your name. You are Alpha and Omega our beginning and our end and we worship you. Your divine impartation is what we depend on to drive us forward in these times that we are living in. Be the God of the Word that reigns high and looks low.We Love you and ask this of you, Create in us a clean heart and renew a right Spirit in us daily as is your will, Amen
