My Morning with God-Col 3:23

Colossians 3:23 says, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."

This verse brings to our remembrance that everything we do should be done with excellence and diligence, not just to please others but to honor and glorify God. Whether it's our job, our studies, or our everyday tasks, we are called to put our best effort into everything we do. When we do this God is glorified.

When we approach our work with a heart focused on serving the Lord, we can find joy and fulfillment in even the most mundane tasks. We are not just working for our earthly bosses or supervisors, but ultimately for God himself. Our work becomes an act of worship when we do it with integrity, perseverance, and a heart full of gratitude.

Let us strive to live out Colossians 3:23 in our daily lives, remembering that our work is a reflection of our faith and devotion to God. May we seek to honor him in all that we do, giving our best and trusting in his guidance and provision.

Dear Lord and savior, we ask that you grant us your power and guidance as we go about our day with true thanksgiving in our heart. Help us to apply the principles that are taught in your Word to serve our community. We are so thankful for all your love, and your kindness that you have shown toward us.. we ask that you created us a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within us daily. In your precious son, Jesus name we pray. Amen.
