My Morning with God- 1 Corinthians 3:15

As believers in Christ, we have been given the incredible gift of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us. In 1 Corinthians 3:16, the apostle Paul reminds us of this truth when he says, "Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?"

What an amazing thought that the very Spirit of God, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, lives within us. This truth should fill us with awe and wonder at the privilege and responsibility we have as temples of the Holy Spirit.

Just as the physical temple in the Old Testament was a place set apart for the worship and presence of God, so too are we as believers set apart for God's purposes. We as believers are not our own nor are we on our own! We are called to honor God with our bodies and our lives, knowing that we are a dwelling place for His Spirit. This in itself should fill us with admiration for our true Lord and savior.

This means that we must be diligent in caring for our spiritual well-being, cultivating a heart that is pure and devoted to God. We must guard against sin and temptation, keeping our thoughts and actions in line with God's Word. We must also be intentional about nurturing our relationship with the Holy Spirit through prayer, worship, and studying the Scriptures.

When we live in this way, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide and empower us, we will experience the fullness of God's presence in our lives. We will bear fruit that brings glory to God and reflects His love and grace to the world around us.

So let us remember that we are temples of the Holy Spirit, and let us live each day in a way that honors God and demonstrates His love to those around us. May we be vessels of His grace and mercy, shining brightly as lights in a dark world. And may we always be grateful for the incredible gift of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us.

There are some people who may never attend church either by choice or not. We as the walking talking temples of the Holy Spirit have the capacity to show them God in essence for he is Love!!

Dear Heavenly Father as we come to you this morning with praise and worship we honor the Spirit of you that lives in us! We guard it and use it as you allow us to. As you give you you the the leadership place in our lives. Thy Will be done on earth as it is done in heaven. You are the epitome of Love , Grace and Mercy . We adore you . Create in us a clean heart and renew a right Spirit within us today. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
