Crafting a life that counts: the true measure of success!!

How will I measure my life? It’s a question that resonates deep within the core of my existence as I age . I think about it almost daily . In this world we are caught up and obsessed with achievement, but I want to invite you to look at what genuinely matters. Why does it matter? Well, I’m glad you asked in the hustle and bustle of every day life it is easy to lose sight of what’s really meaningful in this life, Finding and appreciating what we were really designed by the Almighty God to complete in this world should be my focus. As I thought about these things, I came up with five basic principles that I must focus on. Let me share them with you.

1. I have to reflect on my purpose.: what was the purpose that God allowed me to be born. What was his thoughts when he allowed me to be formed in Rosetta’s wound? What legacy do I want to leave for my children? What do I want to be remembered for?

2: Developing a sense of humility: I want to approach my interactions with people with a sense of humility. Of course, I will recognize my strengths and the contributions that God has allowed me to make, but more importantly, I must consider what effects I have on the people around me.

3. investing in relationships: friendships are so valuable as we were not designed to be alone. As evidence God, created Eve. I believe the core to a fulfilling life is to make a deliberate effort to strengthen our connections to family friends colleagues as well. We were never designed to do life alone we were designed to do life with the Trinity, and all of the people that he places in our lives.

4: a Mindset of giving; I often say that collaboration is the new currency! Well, I believe it, but giving back to the world in acts of kindness and service. That is the true currency . It is how our world thrives.

5: Developing a bond with the Trinty: God, the father, God, the son, and God, the Holy Spirit. This actually should be number one. I made it number five because I wanted to be the last thing that I focused on . My relationship with the Trinity must be the core of my life without it 1 - 4 as listed above stands little chance of coming to fruition!

So there you have it! The true measure of our lives lies in the impact we have on others and the legacy we leave behind. So as I began my day as I have my Morning with God I will remember that every day offers a new opportunity to write the story that God has given me? I challenge you, how are you measuring your life?
